Overview

The following information identifies the general tasks to install and access Results.

Verify that you have the required hardware and software.
Install Results on your system. If you want to run Results in a non-English language, install RESLANG when you install Results. For more information about languages, see Chapter 9 "Database Administration" and Appendix A "Startup and Shutdown Procedures."
Note: See the Results section in OpenEdge Getting Started: Installation and Configuration for instructions on how to install Results on your system. Information about setting your path and Progress startup parameters follows in this section.
Set the DLCRES environment variable to the pathname of the directory where you installed Results.
Set your path for Results.
Set the startup options.
Start Results.
Note: If you are an end user, you might want your database administrator to perform the steps for you.
